Mrs. James Thompson: NEWCASTLE, April 3 - Many friends on the Miramichi will be sorry to learn of the death during the past month of Mrs. Annie Thompson, which occurred at her home in Belmont Hill, Mass., after a lingering illness. She was born in Chatham 82 years ago, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. O'Kane. She had resided in Belmont Hill for 52 years. Two sons, Robert of Arlington and Charles, of Dorchester, survive. Also three sisters, Mrs. John Wallace and Mrs. Ed Barry, of Chatham, Miss Frances O'Kane, of Bartibogue and one brother, Edward O'Kane, of Chatham

The funeral was held from the Norton Funeral Home to the Sacred Heart Church where high mass of requiem was at nine o'clock. Burial was at Forest Dale.
